Why I Start With Hypnosis Before Strategy

Before I dive into branding, offers, or business plans with my clients, I always start with one thing: uncovering what’s really holding them back.

Sounds counterintuitive, right? But here’s why.

If we don’t clear the beliefs that are quietly sabotaging you, all the strategies in the world won’t stick. You’ll stall, hesitate, or self-sabotage without even knowing why. That’s why I use hypnosis at the beginning of our journey - to go straight to the subconscious and pull those blocks out by the root.

In my recent session with Sarah, she shared that even though she wanted to start her coaching business, something about becoming a business owner filled her with anxiety. Turns out, she grew up hearing messages like “average is good,” “don’t attract attention,” and “follow the rules.” No wonder stepping into entrepreneurship felt so uncomfortable - it completely went against what she was taught to believe was “safe” or “good.”

Here’s the truth I shared with her: Confidence doesn’t come from experience. It comes from belief. And belief is something we can build.

Real confidence means knowing that no matter what happens, you’ll figure it out. It’s not the absence of fear - it’s the presence of trust in yourself. That’s what we started installing during her hypnosis session - a new voice inside her that says, “You’ve got this,” even when things feel uncertain.

Because entrepreneurship is uncertain. It’s not a straight line. But when you have a supportive inner dialogue, you’ll be able to stay focused, bounce back, and keep showing up, no matter what.

I reminded her that she already has the skills, the heart, and the desire to make a real impact. Now it’s just about tuning out the noise, doing what truly matters, and offering her authentic self to the people who are already looking for her.
